Midnite Shade, formed in Chicago in 2008 when Rick joined Janet's band Nu Psalm, quickly evolved into a writing and performing duo. Officially established in Virginia in June 2015, with James Gaskins joining in June 2018, the band expanded to include Vern Spevak, with whom Rick previously played for six years on a worship team in Illinois. This 4-piece ensemble enjoys creating a blend of danceable tunes and covers that audiences will appreciate.
